While investigating a series of child abductions in Montana, the case gets personal for Sheriff’s Deputy Lorraine Adalet when her teenage daughter, Joanna, disappears with a friend. Following the clues of otherworldly evidence leads Lorraine back to her long abandoned homeworld of Jannada. Mired in a never-ending war she escaped long ago, Lorraine had hoped to protect Joanna from her own past. Once in Jannada, Lorraine attempts a rescue mission to bring Joanna and the rest of the kidnapped children back to Earth; however, it’s not without resistance. Lorraine must confront her past with the evil Jannadan Queen and everyone else she abandoned all those years ago…not to mention an entire army of magic-wielding children! Meanwhile, Joanna’s allegiance hangs in the balance in this tale of family and fate.

Erica Schultz is a comic book creator best known for 2018’s Daredevil annual starring Misty Knight. She started in the industry as a digital artist and animator on the Astonishing X-Men motion comic “Gifted” from Marvel Comics and has worked comics production, background art, and ink and color assists for Neal Adams’ Continuity Studios on numerous titles and miniseries.
While working at Continuity, Schultz met and teamed up with artist Vicente Alcázar to create the award-winning, creator-owned series M3, published by Vices Press. In 2015, she was one of Gail Simone’s hand-picked writers to contribute to the Swords of Sorrow series with Dynamite Entertainment, co-writing a series tie in with G. Willow Wilson as well as lettering the entire 21-issue crossover series.
In 2016, she was chosen by DC Comics to participate in their pilot program for what became their Talent Development Workshop, collaborating with artist Sonny Liew on a well-received Hawkgirl story.
She has written for Marvel, DC, Dynamite, and Action Lab, as well as contributed to multiple anthologies including Image Comics’ Where We Live anthology for the victims of the Las Vegas shooting (nominated for a 2019 Eisner Award), and The 27 Club: A Comics Anthology published by Red Stylo Media and Action Lab Danger Zone (nominated for a 2016 Harvey Award).
She is a writing instructor at The Kubert School in New Jersey, and a lettering instructor online for ComicsExperience.com.
Marika Cresta is an Italian artist born in Terni. She enrolled at Sapienza Università di Roma and graduated with a degree in architecture in 2015.
An avid learner, Marika is also a graduate of the Scuola Internazionale Comics di Roma where she stayed on for post-graduate work after receiving her diploma.
Her first published work was released in 2016, a well-received short story in the book Yamazaki 18 Years Apocrypha (ManFont Publishing). That same year, she debuted on the foreign market scene with a story in Grimm Tales of Terror: Holiday Special for Zenescope Entertainment.
Scouted by Marvel’s talent team at Lucca Comics & Games, an annual convention in Italy, Marika was brought on as a new artist to work on such iconic titles as Power Pack and X-Men. More recently, she worked on Summit for the Catalyst Prime Universe of Lion Forge.
She lives in Italy with her husband and dog.
