Diamond Select Toys gives us an incredible Ronin statue.
When Hawkeye became Ronin in the comic books, I really wasn’t a fan. And by what I mean by “really wasn’t a fan”, I mean it was hack writing with a BS reason why by Brian Michael Bendis. It made absolutely no sense why he would quit being Hawkeye and be Ronin. Yeah, Bendis tried to explain it, but like most of his writing, it was a crap reason.
Now when the Russo Brothers decided to introduce in Avengers: Endgame, they must have thought the same about the comic version of Ronin. The movie version, why only appearing briefly, made more sense with the identity.
It’s great that Diamond Select gave us this statue. Sculptor Dave Cortes did an incredible job. I love the dynamic pose Ronin is in. Nice details like the folds in the clothes. A great paint job as well.
I highly recommend you pick this status up.
