Revealed as part of the inaugural WitcherCon, Netflix has today unveiled the release date and first imagery from forthcoming The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, which will premiere on Monday August 23, 2021. Participating in a WitcherCon panel named ‘Geralt of T-Rivia’, Lauren Schmidt Hissrich – Showrunner on The Witcher and Executive Producer of The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf – gave fans a first glimpse at Vesemir, as well as the key art including the release date, for the highly anticipated anime film.
The news follows earlier WitcherCon reveals including the release date and teaser art for the second season of The Witcher live action series, which premieres on Friday December 17, 2021.
