It’s a combination of heavily provocative sex scenes, a story of mistakes and misgivings, and big drama among gods and mortals. Fine Print, an original graphic novel from Image, covers and uncovers everything.
Lauren Thomas is a mortal who makes bad decisions. But when the opportunity presents itself that she can make a pact with immortals, she might very well be on the road to ruin. Writer and artist Stjepan Sejic (Sunstone, Witchblade, Justice League Odyssey, etc) delves into the many worlds colliding around sex, the single girl, the multiple partner scenario, and so on. Enter the succubus, the cubi, the underworld of hades, and so on, again.
Fine Print is ‘heart to heart’ at times, and just ‘getting it on’ at other times. The central theme involves a contract with its fine print, the details to be ‘spelled’ out at random, with twists and turns. Nudity, lust, excitement, jealousy, resentment, and reconciliation all emerge to complicate the surroundings.
Sejic’s visuals are stunningly vibrant, with impossibly fit and gorgeous young adults cavorting naked over the pages, making fast friends. The orgasmic soap opera longings, the backroom revealings are all part of the trip and trope of this collection of skinly connected stories.
