Inspired by Popular Gaming Cards, Comixology Announces Comixology Originals 2022 Series Cards, Celebrating the Comixology Originals Catalog and Creators

Plus Limited Edition Book of Evil Enamel Pins and Posters

Comixology, Amazon’s premier digital comics service for reading, buying, browsing or borrowing comics, manga and graphic novels, is announcing their New York Comic Con plans and exclusive giveaways.

Exclusive Giveaways:

  • Inspired by the look of popular gaming cards, Comixology will giveaway Comixology Originals 2022 Series Cards. Each pack of 24 cards features art and information about current Comixology Originals titles that debuted in either digital or print in 2022, showcasing the depth and breadth of the Comixology Originals program and the creators who made the comics. Printed on premium cardstock, packs of Comixology Originals 2022 Series Cards will drop at the Comixology booth #H1B5 located in Artist Alley, throughout the convention.
  • Other Comixology giveaways include limited edition 11×17 posters and limited edition enamel pins spotlighting the new series Book of Evil by bestselling writer Scott Snyder and Award-winning artist Jock, which will be distributed during signings at the Comixology booth #H1B5.
  • Convention attendees will also have chances to win Amazon.com gift cards and Kindle devices.
  • Giveaways will be available for free while supplies last.

Comixology Originals presents: CONversations with Scott Snyder and Jock

Join comic editor Will Dennis (Y: The Last Man, Nocterra, 100 Bullets) as he sits down with celebrated comic book writer Scott Snyder (Batman, American Vampire, Wytches) and New York Times best-selling British artist Jock (Batman, Wytches, The Losers) as they discuss their first creator-owned creation together from Comixology Originals: Book of Evil, as well as their other acclaimed collaborations in the comic industry.

Comixology Originals continues to garner accolades and awards. Following this summer’s Eisner Award win for Best Digital Comic, Snow Angels by Jeff Lemire and Jock is among the 2022 Harvey Award nominees for Best Digital Book of the Year. Winners will be announced at a ceremony during New York Comic Con on October 7.

And in the lead up to the convention, Comixology announced these Comixology Originals arriving this month: Book of Evil by Scott Snyder and Jock which begins with issue #1 tomorrow, October 4 and the original graphic novel Night at the Belfry by Xavier Saxon which arrives October 18.

Signings:

Comixology will host an array of signings at booth #H1B5 with top talent including Scott Snyder, Tula Lotay, Jamal Igle, Dan Panosian, Jock, Greg Lockard, Jeremy Holt and more! The full signing schedule will be available to check out across all of Comixology’s social media, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Artist Alley:

Comixology will once again be the exclusive sponsor of Artist Alley–the creative hub where fans can get up close and personal with the creative masterminds behind their favorite comic books, graphic novels, and artistic creations–at New York Comic Con taking place October 6-9 at the Jacobs Javits Center located at 655 W 34th St.

Attendees can locate the Comixology booth #H1B5 at the bottom of the escalators in Artist Alley where they will be celebrating the Comixology Originals line of exclusive digital content. You’ll also spot banners featuring many Comixology Originals titles throughout the convention hall.    

Promotions:

In addition to what’s happening inside the convention, look for Comixology ads at the Hudson Yards Subway Station and see if you can spot the Comixology mobile display that will be driving around.
