The 1995 groundbreaking comic book series is being collected into a 240-page hardcover Shi: Senryaku Omnibus features the Art of War’s Thirty-Six Stratagems gloriously interpreted by legendary comic artists detailing the life lessons of a young Ana Ishikawa as taught to her by her grandfather. Written by Blue Devil and Amethyst co-creator Gary Cohn and illustrated by such greats as Jim Lee, Amanda Conner, Terry Moore, Joe Quesada, George Perez, Billy Tucci, Jimmy Palmiotti, Frank Frazetta, Adam Hughes, Jeff Smith and many more.

Senryaku Spotlight Star Of The Day: Joe Jusko
Joe Jusko is undoubtedly one of the best-known Fantasy, Pin-Up and Comic Artists in the world today. His career has spanned over 45 years, starting with the sale of his very first cover for Heavy Metal Magazine in 1977 at the age of 17. Since graduating that year from NYC’s High School of Art & Design, Joe has worked for almost every major comic book publisher, producing hundreds of images for both covers and interiors. His work has appeared on paperback book covers, calendars, posters, t-shirts, toy packaging and innumerable trading cards, most memorably the multi award winning 1992 Marvel Masterpieces Trading Cards.
About Billy Tucci
Inkpot Award recipient Billy Tucci is an American cartoonist best known for his modern-day samurai saga Shi, which began with The Way of the Warrior in 1994. Through his company, Crusade Fine Arts, Shi has been printed in five languages and sold more than 3 million comic books. In addition to his own creations, the graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology has earned the prestigious Diamond Comics Gem Award and has been nominated for four Eisner Awards. Billy’s DC Comics’ graphic novel, Sgt.
