DSTLRY, the next-generation publisher redefining creator-owned comic books and collectibles, today revealed Blasfamous, a new horror-comedy comic series launching this December from Harvey Award-winning writer and artist Mirka Andolfo (Sweet Paprika, Mercy, Unnatural).
Spinning out of the 5-page story a “A Blessed Day” from DSTLRY’s debut release The Devil’s Cut, Blasfamous offers a biting, hilarious dissection of media idolation—asking the pivotal question: how many fans is your soul worth?

About Mirka Andolfo
Mirka Andolfo is a multiple award-winning Italian writer and artist, appreciated for her strong female characters. She is the creator of Unnatural, Mercy, and Sweet Paprika, some of the most successful comics series of the past decade.
She has also collaborated with DC Comics since 2015, working on titles including Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Punchline, DC Bombshells, and Batman: White Knight Presents – Generation Joker. In 2020, she became the first Italian creator to work on both story and artwork at DC (Harley Quinn Black+White+Red).
Andolfo has also created popular series including Un/Sacred and Deep Beyond, and writes stories for BOOM! Studios (Buffy: the Vampire Slayer, The Amazing World of Gumball), Dynamite (Red Sonja, Red Sitha, Bettie Page), The Walt Disney Company (Daisy and the Mysteries of Paris), and Marvel Comics (Women of Marvel, Extreme Venomverse), for which she also illustrated two issues of the award-winning Ms. Marvel series. She graphically created the character of Red Dagger, who appears in the Marvel Studios’ television series, played by Aramis Knight.
As an illustrator, she’s contributed to marketing and advertising campaigns for companies including Paramount, 20th Century Studios, Netflix, Sky, and Juventus, and has drawn comics and covers for many publishers in Europe and the United States.
