“Premature panic is the sign of an immature mind!”

Mezco’s first G.I. Joe character from the A Real American Hero stories, shows, and action figures is none other than the Weapons Dealer Destro. Born James McCullen Destro XXIV. The Family Destro has been selling weapons for centuries, Destro founded M.A.R.S. which Manufactures weapons and provides them to cobra in their pursuit to take over the world. Destro first appeared in the original toy line in 1983. Forty years later and multiple releases Mezco finally (I’ve been saying it for a few years now) brings its 6-inch cloth version to Mezco and Joe fans. The wait is finally over!

Included with this 6-in figure are 6 pairs of hands, 3 head designs, family crest necklace, missiles wrist gauntlet with added firing effects, Cobra briefcase with light effects which can be swapped with a modular sub-machine gun that comes apart, a cobra base stand, and interchangeable thigh holster.

As a Joe Fan, I love this figure. My only complaint is I would have preferred to see Roadblock first. However, there are plenty of Joe figures on the way including Snake Eyes, Stormshadow, and Firefly. You can’t go wrong with decked-out Joes in their gear now made of cloth. If you were a fan of the 12 in versions made by Sideshow these pick up and surpass them. 6-inch cloth versions for the win. They can blend in with the Hasbro versions although the Mezco figures are beefier. Another hit from the people at Mezco Toyz.

Lastly, What would an arms dealer be without arms to sell? Well, thanks to the growth in the 3D design and printing world we have 2 great weapons packs from Mark2Design. Pack A and Pack B with a plethora of weaponry for the battlefield. Each pack comes with 8 weapons each and priced well at $13.00 which already includes the tax. These can be purchased on his site Mark2toys.com. Mark is one of the best at 3D design and is constantly delivering some great work weapons are only a percentage of what he does. Keep checking his site for more great offers. Thank you Mark for supplying us with these weapons packs.
