BOOM! Studios announced today that the breakout folk horror series THE NEIGHBORS, written by Jude Ellison S. Doyle and illustrated by Letizia Cardonici, has been recognized as a nominee for the GLAAD Media Award for “Outstanding Comic Book.”
The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) community and the issues that affect their lives.
Critically acclaimed and beloved by readers, The Neighbors has been celebrated as one of the best original series of last year, and was named as one of CBR’s “10 Best Horror Comics of 2023.”
The GLAAD Media Awards ceremonies will be held in Los Angeles on March 14, 2024 and in New York City on May 11, 2024.
