Greg Pak and Diego Galindo pen a new morality tale at BOOM! Studios

Renowned and award-winning author Greg Pak (Mech Cadets, Planet Hulk) and acclaimed artist Diego Galindo (Stranger Things: The Voyage, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers) spin a yarn of moral imperfection and monstrous consequences in LAWFUL, a brand new series from BOOM! Studios coming Summer 2024.

Magical meets modernity in a walled city with strangely familiar architecture, where two young heroes with a sense of adventure get a grim reminder of their reality…

Because every mistake, every lie, every misdeed one makes in this world will cause them to transform into a monster. Bit by bit, one small change at a time. In the eyes of society, there is no distinction between being lawful and doing the right thing.

Lawful may be simultaneously one of the most personal and fantastical stories I’ve ever written, and I’m so grateful to be working with this brilliant team to bring it to life. If you’re a fan of gorgeous, lush, organic art that takes you somewhere you’ve never been and tales of young heroes struggling to do the right thing in a world of impossible mandates, this book is for you,” said writer Greg Pak.

Lawful is something special,” said series artist Diego Galindo. “Greg is doing magic with this story. I’m really proud of the work we’re doing on this one!”

LAWFUL #1 will be available in comic shops June 12, 2024. It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including Kindle, iBooks, and Google Play.
