Time Breakers: The Collection
Now Live on Zoop
The first ever reprint of the time paradox tale by the late Rachel Pollack & Chris Weston.
DEDICATED TO THE LATE RACHEL POLLACK
For the first time ever, veteran comics artist Chris Weston is re-releasing his creator owned book, Time Breakers. The crowdfunding campaign on Zoop is where this mini series for the DC Comics Imprint Helix is being collected. The series will be displayed as a gorgeous hardcover featuring an all-new cover, the entire run, character designs, process art and more. The collection is dedicated to Weston’s co-creator and series writer, the late Rachel Pollack.
Time Breakers is a story about Angela Attenborough, a young, bored housewife of the 1950s… She’s about to be recruited by a future version of herself to a secret society of time-travelers known as The Time Breakers. Comprised of members drawn from the past, present and future, The Time Breakers are dedicated to the creation of time paradoxes, which they believe are instrumental to the creation of life itself. Their efforts bring them into a deadly conflict with The Knowers, a rival time-traveling cult who zealousy resist all forms of meddling in historical events.
Weston has this to say about the project. “The prospect of seeing Time Breakers back in print is very exciting to me. The late, great Rachel Pollock wrote a neat little gem of a story and it will be lovely to see it land back in the hands of fans new and old! I was privileged to get to work with a writer who was ahead of her time and if this book can help bring more attention to Rachel’s life and work I’ll be very happy!”
Zoop’s CEO, Jordan Plosky says “Chris has worked with every top tier comic creator this industry has ever known. Between his pedigree, the art, and story of Time Breakers, as well as honoring the legacy of Rachel Pollack, I can speak for the entire team at Zoop saying how proud we are to be a small part of this title’s legacy.”
