21 DOWN MAKES A SPECIAL RETURN FROM PAPERFILMS

Hey crew!

Let me give you a little background on our next KICKSTARTER!

Back in 2001, Justin Gray and I were asked by the fine folks at DC/WILDSTORM to create a few titles with original content and we did – THE RESISTANCE and 21 DOWN! We never expected the attention 21 DOWN got from the public and it even won an award in the process! After 12 issues of amazing artwork by Jesus Siaz, Paul Mounts and myself, we were ready for Year Two! After working on issue 13, the book and a series of other titles were abruptly cancelled. Something that happens a lot in the comic industry.

We sat on the unpublished 21 DOWN Issue 13 for years, always wondering when the time was, we could show the public the book, and maybe renew interest in the series. Well, the Wildstorm imprint eventually merged with DC Comics, and it seemed limbo was 21 DOWN’s new home. That is until the fine folks at DC and I got together and figured out a plan to finally not only collect all 12 issues, but to get permission to finally let the 13^th issue see the light of day here at Paperfilms. Justin, Jesus, Paul and I are so excited to finally bring this new Kickstarter to you starting hopefully next week. We are hoping you will get in early to the link provided and pre-sign up for one of my favorite mainstream adult series I ever worked on!

So, next week you will get a chance to own a 13-issue HARDCOVER collection of 21 DOWN and for all the comic diehards, we did a comic version to complete the set as well with a brand-new cover by the series cover artist JOE JUSKO and our usual special mystery cover by AMANDA CONNER!

AMANDA CONNER COMIC CON REVOLUTION COMMISSIONS

Just one day left as our own AMANDA CONNER has decided to open up another extremely short list of pre-convention list options for the Comic Con Revolution show, AMANDA will be offering a limited five (5) total spots for either a “THIGH UP” or “FULL FIGURE” black and white, single figure commission. Many have asked for this option, always checking and searching for options. Well, here you go. These will be limited spots, limited times before closing this prior to the show, however, Amanda wants to draw for her fans!

Anyone who purchases this option needs to pick the artwork up at the show, no exceptions, no mailings, you must be at the show to get the artwork.

These items have just one day left where you will be able to access the page to order and will be required to pay a deposit amount towards the commission. Then at the show for pickup, you will pay the balance of the amount.

Once deposit is secured, we’ll reach out to ensure everyone is aware of the structure. Amanda will provide two options for sizes:

Black and white, full single figure: $2000
Black and white, thigh up single figure: $1500

Many have asked and dreamed of getting an original piece of your choice from AMANDA, now is your chance! Reminder, these are limited quantities so act fast if you will be at the show!

**Based on the attendance at the show, both remarque and any drawing windows will be limited or even restricted for Amanda. Her priority is always, first and foremost visiting and signing with fans. This option secures your option for any artwork. We will have limited amount of pre-done and original artwork.**
