With Crusade Comics’ Rocketeer: Pavlichenko Special Art Edition now at the printer, the Long Island based publisher scheduled the close of the campaign on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo crowdfunding platforms.

Rocketeer: Pavlichenko also currently on Indiegogo indemand mode and part of Crusade’s “Shi: Second Coming” campaign will simultaneously close on that platform so Tucci and company can focus on their latest campaign, Shi: Gatecrasher.
For the close, Tucci plans to go live on YouTube Wednesday, December 18th at 8pm EST for a special close out stream to talk up the campaign and celebrate the Rocketeer and his creator, the great Dave Stevens’ incredible legacy.
SHI: GATECRASHER INDIEGOGO RACES TOWARD $90,000.00!
In its first week into Indiegogo’s indemand mode, Shi: Gatecrasher is nearing and astonishing $90,000.00 in total returns.
Based on the Story by Shi-creator Billy Tucci and writer J.C. Vaughn, and illustrated by Tucci, Leandro Oliveira, Hi-Fi Colour Design, with lettering by Mindy Lopkin, Shi: Gatecrasher is literally the “destroy all monsters” of comic book character collision!
In Shi: Gatecrasher, we find Ana Ishikawa, (allied with RAN, Tucci’s ORIGINAL concept for SHI) trapped within comic book time where she must battle through a cartoonist’s history of four-color imagery to find her way back home.
Starting in 1938, Shi: Gatecrasher takes the reader on an amazing adventure across comics’ incredible decades, trends, and genres. A gripping, funny book fantasy that sees Ana and Ran encountering, war, westerns, horror, apes, nazis, space vixens, superheroes, romance, robots, dinosaurs, commies, cartoons, crime, bad girls, zombies and even the seduction of the innocent!
The campaign has also unlocked a myriad of stretch goal rewards that are free to all backers who pledged for a physical perk. About Billy Tucci
Inkpot Award recipient Billy Tucci is a cartoonist best known for his modern-day samurai saga Shi.
