Kana, Abrams ComicArts’ imprint devoted to publishing new manga series in English, will publish French mangaka ZD’s Space Punch Volume 1 on January 7, 2025. Since it’s debut in 2021, Space Punch has thrilled readers in France with high-octane action and heartfelt storytelling. Now English readers can discover the wonders of ZD’s series too.

The epic series kicks off in this first volume which throws readers into a sprawling, mafia-governed metropolis where corruption and violence are commonplace. Space Punch Volume 1 follows two brothers as they try to navigate the dangerous and unforgiving city they call home. Joe and Zack lost their father when they were young. Since then, the two brothers have chosen vastly different paths: Zack is a policeman, while Joe is a food delivery man. Despite their differences, both brothers are gifted boxers with good hearts.
