COFFIN COMICS FANS ANSWER THE CALL TO CRASH THE SHI UNIVERSE!
Crusade Comics’ Latest Kickstarter Features Coffin Comics’ Lady Death and the World’s Greatest Public Domain Heroes!
In its first week, Billy Tucci’s twenty-eight-day Shi: Gatecrasher Kickstarter has steadily become Crusade Comics’ fastest ever crowdfunding opening. The Long Island based publisher’s 11th Kickstarter launched to a blazing start as funding has already surpassed $70,000.00 in gross returns.
Shi: Gatecrasher, is a 56-page, full-color, original graphic novel that finds Tucci’s sensual Sohei trapped in comic book time where she, (along with RAN, Tucci’s original interpretation of Shi) battles through comics’ colorful history, decades, genres and trends… and along for the ride is none other than Brian Pulido’s legendary Lady Death!
“Thank You, Sworn Nation!” Stated Tucci. “It is truly an honor to have Lady Death play such a crucial role in Shi: Gatecrasher. For over thirty years, Lady Death creator Brian Pulido has stood as a guiding light of inspiration to not just me, but to all comic creators. Being #SwornSince94 myself, I am humbled by not only Brian’s faith, but for all of you who have entrusted me to deliver the Lady Death that Coffin fans deserve. I sure as hell will not let you down.”
Based on the Story by Billy Tucci and writer J.C. Vaughn and illustrated by Tucci, Leandro Oliveira and Brian Miller with lettering by Mindy Lopkin, Shi: Gatecrasher is literally the “destroy all monsters” of comic book character collision!
