Super Jersey Comic Expo is thrilled to announce that The Real Michael Jai White, renowned actor and martial artist, will be appearing as a social guest at the event on April 26 & 27, 2025 inside The Dome at Adventure in Jackson, NJ!!
White is well-known for his portrayal of comic book characters in film, television, and animation. He made history as the first African American actor to portray a major comic book superhero in a major motion picture, when he starred as Al Simmons aka Spawn in the 1997 film of the same name.
In 2008 he portrayed mob boss Gambol in Christoper Nolan’s The Dark Knight, and in the smash-hit show Arrow, Mr. White Portrayed Ben Turner aka Bronze Tiger, a long-storied character created by Denny O’Neil & Jim Berry in 1975.
In addition to his work in comic book adaptations, White has also appeared in films such as Universal Soldier in 1995 alongside Jean Claude VanDamme: The Return, Exit Wounds, and Why Did I Get Married? He is also a highly skilled martial artist, holding black belts in seven different styles.
Mr. White’s appearance at Super Jersey Comic Expo is a huge deal for us as SPAWN fans from a young age, and we are sure this will be a highlight for fans of comic books, martial arts, and film!
He will be available both days for autographs, photo ops, and Q&A sessions to be announced soon!
