The personal sketchbook of Ian Bertram, over a decade in the making.
Ian Bertram and Tiny Onion have teamed up to combine 13 years of his private sketchbooks into one beautiful tome, Acheron.
“This is my sketchbook. This is the thing I’ve been working on for over 13 years,” said Bertram. “It’s working through some of the most difficult moments of my life. This is me finding something within the chaos. That you can hold.”
Acheron will be an oversized landscape hardcover, featuring 60 pages of beautiful artwork with a handwritten introduction by Bertram himself. The book is a unique size at 9”x12”, and printed on gorgeous 200gsm paper, to replicate every intricate detail.
“It feels very special and rare to be able to work on a project like this,” said Courtney Menard, Tiny Onion’s Director of Production. “To be entrusted with reproducing Ian’s sketchbooks, which are incredibly intricate and so deeply personal, has been a wonderful, creatively fulfilling challenge. It is my honor to translate his work into a version fans can take home.”
Tiny Onion and Bertram have launched a Kickstarter campaign to deliver Acheron directly to his fanbase and lovers of bespoke physical media.

Acheron is attempting to raise $15,000 USD to cover manufacturing and shipping costs. For the first 24 hours, backers will have access to a special Early Backer tier, offering a discounted rate as a thank you.
