Penguin Random House Publisher Services (PRHPS), a division of leading global trade book publisher Penguin Random House, today announced a multi-year sales and distribution agreement with Ignition Press, the upstart creator-driven comic book and graphic novel publisher, beginning September 2025.
Co-founded by publishing and media industry veterans Eric Gitter (CEO), Filip Sablik (Publisher), Jamie S. Rich (Editor-in-Chief), and Jeremy Haun (Creative Director), Ignition Press is dedicated to empowering vibrant creativity through creator-driven original stories, told with integrity and commitment, that meet their audience where they are. The company’s initial slate includes projects from fan favorite creators including Haun, Cullen Bunn, Simon Spurrier, Leah Williams, Stephanie Williams, Jim McCann, Jason A. Hurley, the Miranda Brothers, Mike Tisserand, Marika Cresta, David Baldeón, Letizia Cadonici, and Joe Eisma with many more to be announced in the coming months.
The debuting publisher already has their first television series in production with The Beauty, created by Haun and Hurley, at FX with mega-showrunner, Ryan Murphy, at the helm and an all-star cast that includes Evan Peters, Anthony Ramos, Ashton Kutcher, Jeremy Pope, Rebecca Hall, and Isabella Rossellini.
