Exciting news out of SDCC — today, WEBTOON announced that it is bringing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin to the platform as part of its reformatting partnership with IDW Publishing. The series will launch on August 23.
TMNT: The Last Ronin follows the tale of a lone surviving Turtle embarking on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost. Newly reformatted for WEBTOON’s vertical scroll format, the series joins previously launched IDW titles including Godzilla: Unnatural Disasters, Sonic the Hedgehog, Beneath the Trees, and more.
WEBTOON also revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will be the first series to launch as part of its expanded partnership with Dark Horse Comics. Bringing the neon-lit streets of Night City to vertical scroll for the first time, the series will launch on WEBTOON on August 8.
