Today Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading games, IP and toy company Hasbro, revealed interior pages and the lineup of variant covers for TRANSFORMERS #24, the two-time Eisner Award winning series fromwriter Daniel Warren Johnson (Extremity, Do a Powerbomb), artist Jorge Corona (Middlewest), colorist Mike Spicer (Stillwater, Murder Falcon), and letterer Rus Wooton (G.I. JOE). The thrilling conclusion to Daniel Warren Johnson’s epic run on the flagship Energon Universe series will be available on shelves in comic book shops on September 10, 2025.

In addition to the main cover by Daniel Warren Johnson and series colorist Mike Spicer, the lineup of variant covers for TRANSFORMERS #24 includes an open-to-order cover B by series artist Jorge Corona & Mike Spicer, a 1:10 incentive variant concluding the connecting cover series by David Nakayama, a 1:25 incentive variant by Jeff Spokes, a 1:50 incentive variant by Pye Parr, and a wraparound cover by Johnson and Spicer. 

The October issue of TRANSFORMERS marks the beginning of an exciting era, led by an all-new creative team. The current series colorist Mike Spicer and letterer Rus Wooton will be joined by the creative dream team of Robert Kirkman (Invincible, Void Rivals) and Dan Mora (Superman, Justice League Unlimited). Together, they’ll launch a new age of TRANSFORMERS with an oversized 25th issue, celebrating the blockbuster series’ second anniversary. A perfect jumping on point for new readers, issue #25 will also feature a story from Kirkman and current series artist Jorge Corona. 

TRANSFORMERS is the cornerstone of the Energon Universe, the crown jewel of the historic collaboration between Hasbro and Skybound, who has introduced a brand-new era of the TRANSFORMERS and G.I.
