Hey folks, we’re really excited to share some great news about our next upcoming Kickstarter project from the team: DEEP SEA
With the upcoming campaign, we are thrilled to launch DEEP SEA and bring this project back to light and expand on the original story concept. Written by acclaimed duo Jimmy Palmiotti [ Punisher-Harley Quinn-Painkiller Jane] and Justin Gray [ The Resistance- Jonah Hex and Powergirl], with stunning visuals from award-winning artist Tony Akins [Fables and Wonder woman] and masterful colors by Paul Mounts. DEEP SEA is a standalone graphic novel that plunges readers into a world where memory, mystery, and monsters collide.
DEEP SEA is more than a monster story—it’s a high-concept adventure wrapped in emotional introspection, with the pulse of a blockbuster and the soul of a tragedy. This was originally published in a three-part serial many years ago for Dark Horse Comics, but the team got together and added three more chapters, and all of this is presented for the first time here!
The campaign is scheduled to launch this coming Tuesday, September 2nd at 11am EDT, so click on the link below to be notified!

The team of AMANDA CONNER & JIMMY PALMIOTTI are headed to the great city of Salt Lake City for the FanX Salt Lake City Comic Con show on September 25th – 27th, 2025! This is our first time doing this show and we are pumped to see our fans in the area. We hope several of you come out to the show and swing by for the team.

AUGUST RECAP
The Paperfilms team was in full travel and event mode in the month of August, and we wanted to share some of the fun times we had all around. From Terrificon, Tampa Bay Comic Con to the Imagine Museum hosting the Drawn To Action: The Cover Art of Amanda Conner, the team was all over the place.
