From Spider-Man and Captain America to The Fantastic Four and Daredevil, these custom creations celebrate some of the iconic characters that are a part of Marvel’s rich legacy in New York City.

In conjunction with New York Comic Con, Marvel is hitting the streets of New York City with Super Hero Scoops, a limited-time traveling ice cream experience that offers people a way to celebrate their fandom. On October 8, 9, and 11, keep an eye out for the decked-out Marvel ice cream truck, announcing its arrival in each borough and neighborhood with an iconic Marvel anthem reimagined into a classic ice-cream truck jingle. Fans will be treated to character-inspired frozen creations from Dreyer’sTM Grand Ice Cream, giveaways including collectibles and apparel, as well as memorable moments that surprise, delight, and celebrate Marvel’s rich legacy in the New York neighborhoods that have inspired some of the world’s most iconic heroes.

The first stop on the morning of October 8 will be Queens, home of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, where fans can relish in a hot dog shaped ice cream treat. In the afternoon, Brooklyn—home to Steve Rogers, otherwise known as Captain America—will be the next stop on the tour, featuring the Star Spangled Shield, an ice cream sandwich.

Throughout the morning on October 9, fans in Midtown Manhattan will have the opportunity to enjoy the Cosmic Quartet, a four-colored mix of Nestlé® Dibs® inspired by the unique powers of The Fantastic Four. In the afternoon, the truck will be stationed near the Javits Center for the start of New York Comic Con.

The final stops of this immersive experience the morning of October 11 will be Hell’s Kitchen—a nod to Daredevil’s stomping grounds, featuring the daring and decadent Not Guilty Pleasure, a chili-chocolate ice cream bar featuring Häagen-Dazs® Chocolate Dark Chocolate Ice Cream Bars—and ending near the Javits Center in the afternoon once again. From the comic book origins of these beloved heroes to the climactic battles between Loki and The Avengers or Galactus and The Fantastic Four, New York City has shaped Marvel’s heroes since its founding in 1939 through today.

All ice cream products served from the truck will feature some fan-favorite Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream products including Edy’s® ice cream, Nestlé®, and Häagen-Dazs® novelty items. This collaboration ensures a delicious, branded experience that brings together Marvel storytelling with one of America’s most beloved ice cream brands.

The first 500 fans at each location will also receive a mix of Marvel giveaways, including collectibles, keepsakes, and specialty items. Fans will have another chance to win prizes by testing their knowledge with Marvel trivia.

From fans attending New York Comic Con to casual New Yorkers discovering Marvel in their own backyard, this is a can’t-miss experience. Dive into the Marvel Universe through films, television, comic books, games, collectibles, and more, and discover Marvel stories now streaming on Disney+!
