Creator-Driven Publisher Will Exhibit at Booth 1901

Ignition Press is excited to announce they will be exhibiting at Baltimore Comic-Con from October 17th to October 19th for the first time, meeting fans at one of the premier comic-centric shows as it celebrates its 26th year. Throughout the weekend, Ignition Press will hold creator signings for Stephanie Williams (Roots of MadnessNubia) and Jeremy Haun (The BeautyMurder Podcast). Haun is extending his 11-stop Murder Podcast Killer Signing Spree Tour to conclude at Baltimore Comic-Con, bringing with him limited copies of the Murder Podcast Tour and Secret Variants. The publisher is also excited to share an exhibit floor with other upcoming Ignition Press creators Aaron Campbell (InfidelJohn Constantine Hellblazer) and Shawn Martinbrough (Thief of ThievesRed Hood: The Hill) along with fan-favorite cover artists Becky Cloonan (Deluge), Jae Lee (Arcadia), Tula Lotay (Voyeur), and Declan Shalvey (Deluge).

“Baltimore Comic-Con has been one of the premier conventions celebrating the magic and history of sequential storytelling at its core for over a quarter century, so where better to meet comic book readers where they are than Charm City?” said Ignition Press Publisher Filip Sablik. “Ignition Press is thrilled and honored to share our first four debut titles with comic fans for the first time and sponsor the Ringo Awards at Baltimore Comic-Con.”

The publisher will hold their Doing Comics Differently with Ignition Press panel on Friday, October 17th at 4:00pm EST in Room 338, hosted by Ignition Press Publisher Filip Sablik. Fan-favorite storytellers Stephanie Williams (Roots of MadnessNubia), Aaron Campbell (InfidelWest of Sundown), and Shawn Martinbrough (Thief of ThievesRed Hood: The Hill) are joined by surprise guests including Ignition Press Creative Director and creator, Jeremy Haun, to reveal details about their upcoming series and why working with Ignition Press really is “doing comics differently.”

Fans can purchase the Ignition Exclusive variant covers for Murder Podcast #1 by Shawn MartinbroughVoyeur #1 by Tula LotayRoots of Madness #1 by Karen Darboe, and Deluge #1 by Declan Shalvey; the Cold Open introductory issue for NO Place and Deluge, with the latter featuring a cover by guest Becky Cloonan; and the Local Comic Shop Day edition of The Beauty: Book One. Fans will also have the opportunity to add limited edition Ignition Press merchandise onto their orders at the show or preorder a copy of Arcadia: The Cold Open and have them shipped to their home address afterwards.

Fans who make a purchase at the booth will receive a coin token for the Ignition Press gachapon machine, which includes prizes ranging from premium vinyl stickers, enamel pins, and even Golden Tickets redeemable for original sketches from Ignition Press artists.
