Momentum carried Billy Tucci’s latest graphic novel, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior Kickstarter Exclusive through its first weekend as fans have propelled the 21-day campaign to just shy of $30,000.00 in returns and 600% over its initial funding goal.

Ran is a comic that is thirty-five years in the making, as the character is very near and dear to my heart.” Stated writer/artist Tucci. “You never know the fan reaction when a ‘new’ character is introduced to comics, but I couldn’t be more astonished and humbled by the incredible fan reaction to her debut. We hope you’ll support the campaign and push Ran over that hallowed $30K threshold!”

Set within the violent, neon-lit, Kabukichō district of Tokyo 1993, Revenge of the Warrior details one young woman’s battle for justice against American sex-trafficking, ex-pat killers aligned with the notorious Yakuza crime syndicate.
