Deborah (Tucci, Crusade’s Executive Director) and I and cannot express our appreciation to everyone for their faith and support!”
Ran is a comic that is thirty-five years in the making. Tucci’s first created Ran back in 1990 and she is the character that evolved into the multi-Eisner Award nominee. Ran’s initial 22-day Indiegogo closed earlier this month with over $75,000.00 in returns with the campaign’s first four Stretch Goals; the Ran Hardcover Trading Card, Billy Tucci Ran Mini-Print, Dan Lawlis Gilded Variant Trading Card, and the Leandro Oliveira Black Racer Vinyl Sticker all unlocked. Due to Crusade’s exclusive #NoFanLeftBehind campaign strategy, backers on both Indiegogo and Kickstarter mutually benefit from each platform’s stretch goals. All Stretch Goals come FREE to all Kickstarter and Indiegogo backers who pledged for a physical perk.
Set within the violent, neon-lit, Kabukichō district of Tokyo 1993, Revenge of the Warrior details one young woman’s war against a human-trafficking gang of American ex-pat killers aligned with the notorious Yakuza crime syndicate.
The Ran: Revenge of the Warrior Kickstarter will close at 11:59pm EST on December, 22nd.
