This Wednesday January 7, 2026, acclaimed Syracuse-based comic book publisher AHOY Comics will kick off a multi-issue Toxie saga with THE TOXIC AVENGER COMICS #6, the latest issue in an all-new ongoing series masterminded by THE NIB founder and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Matt Bors, who will be writing the series. Each issue of THE TOXIC AVENGER COMICS’ first five-issue arc has been illustrated by a different artist showcasing a different genre—horror (#1), crime (#2), sci-fi (#3), romance (#4) and fantasy (#5)—and included a two-page mini-comic at the start by Fred Harper, which have all been leading up to issue #6… aka “Toxie Goes to Washington”!
