The short comics work of writer/artist Jason Latour (co-creator of Marvel’s popular Spider-Gwen, co-creator of the award winning Southern Bastards) will be collected into Super Ego: The Short Comics of Jason Latour. This trade paperback will hit shelves this Spring from Image Comics.
This solo comics variety show blends, bleeds and blurs satire, superheroes and Slice-of-Life sequential storytelling.
“From the Sunday Funnies, to Mad Magazine, to my dog-eared issues of Spider-Man, every single line and mark of Super Ego is an effort to put my love for comics on display,” said Latour. “This is the most fun I’ve ever had making comics.”
Super Ego: The Short Comics of Jason Latour trade paperback (ISBN: 9781534331013) will be available at local comic book shops on Wednesday, May 6 and independent bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Indigo, and Waterstones on Tuesday, June 2.
Super Ego will also be available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play, and Omnibus.
