Crusade’s 11th Indiegogo, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior #1 stunned the comics community as the character’s 48-page debut graphic novel soared to over $75,000.00 in its initial campaign on the crowdfunding platform.
Launched soon after Indiegogo’s cross-platform reconstruction, Revenge of the Warrior’s Indiegogo was set for just 23-days. Being the new character, (who inspired Billy Tucci’s Shi) debut graphic novel on all-new Indiegogo, Crusade’s soft-open served as a “test bed” Tucci and team focused on production.
“The fans have spoken!” Exclaimed Tucci. “I am humbled to my core with the fan reaction to Ran as you never know how it will be when launching a completely new character. Since the Indiegogo was so short, Ran’s success caught many – including me – completely off guard and set off a collector’s frenzy!”
Ran: Revenge of the Warrior #1 Indiegogo will go live tomorrow evening 7pm EST with new perks and newly set stretch goals. The graphic novel is scheduled to go to production next month.
