Louis Cunningham, Ben Chapple, Evelyn Miller, and Island Austin join the cast of God of War
 
Prime Video’s God of War is in association with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions

  • Based on PlayStation’s massively popular ancient mythology-themed video game, the series has received a two-season order, with production underway in Vancouver.
  • God of War follows father and son Kratos and Atreus as they embark on a journey to spread the ashes of their wife and mother, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to teach his son to be a better god, while Atreus tries to teach his father how to be a better human.
  • Previously announced cast members include Ryan Hurst as Kratos, Callum Vinson as Atreus, Ed Skrein as Baldur, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Jeff Gulka as Sindri, Danny Woodburn as Brok, and Mandy Patinkin as Odin.
  • Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) serves as showrunner, executive producer, and writer.
  • Additional executive producers include Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee, and Brad Van Arragon. Joe Menosky, Marc Bernardin, Tania Lotia, and Ben McGinnis serve as co-executive producers on the series.
  • Emmy®Award-winning director Frederick E.O. Toye (Shōgun, The Boys, Fallout) has signed on to direct the first two episodes of God of War.
  • God of War is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in association with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions.

LOUIS CUNNINGHAM

Louis Cunningham (Marie Antoinette) has signed on as a series regular to play Modi in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
 
Modi Character Description: Sif and Thor’s middle child, Modi has a gentle disposition and an obsessive, almost insatiably curious mind. He loves puzzles and complex problems—to such an extent that he often gets lost within them and forgets everything else around him.

Louis Cunningham is a young London based actor. He stars as ‘Louis XVI’ in two seasons of the Canal + series Marie Antoinette which is broadcast on BBC1 and PBS. The second season aired on BBC1 in 2025. Alongside his screen work Louis has founded a theatre company and develops work for stage. He starred in The Party at the Hope Theatre in London directed by Max Mackay.
Cunningham is represented by Sequel Management.

BEN CHAPPLE
BEN CHAPPLE

Ben Chapple (Good Cop Bad Cop, Playing for Keeps) has signed on to recur as Magni in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
 
Magni Character Description: Sif and Thor’s eldest son. Handsome and adventurous, Magni is an excellent hunter and natural ladies’ man, but the life of an immortal playboy has begun to feel hollow and Magni is yearning for a greater purpose. He is extremely protective of his younger brother, Modi.

Ben Chapple is an Australian actor whose recent screen credits include Good Cop Bad Cop for The CW and Stan, and Playing for Keeps for Paramount and Network Ten. His theatre work includes Ode to Isaiah Walsh, Instructions for Correct Assembly, and Things I Know to be True. He is a graduate of Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Chapple is represented by Strand Entertainment, The X Division and Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher.

Evelyn Miller (Foundation, The Lovers) has signed on to recur as Gna in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
 
Gna Character Description: Gna is Odin’s Valkyrie commander. A fierce warrior, she is devoted to her duty with a loyalty to Odin that borders on fanatical. Highly disciplined and uncompromising, she is dedicated to serving the realm, occasionally at the expense of her own wellbeing.

Evelyn Miller is a British actress who has an impressive list of theatre credits that include starring opposite James McAvoy as ‘Roxanne’ in Jamie Lloyd’s production of Cyrano De Bergerac which launched to critical acclaim both in the West End and New York. ISLAND AUSTIN
ISLAND AUSTIN

Island Austin (Insidious 6, I Can Only Imagine 2) has signed on as a series regular to play Thrud in Prime Video’s God of War from Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
 
Thrud Character Description: Sif and Thor’s youngest child, Thrud is precocious, inquisitive, curious, and fearless, with a natural yearning for knowledge. She’s gentle and kind, and often acts as a peace-maker with the rest of her troubled family. Her grandfather, Odin, sees seeds of greatness in Thrud (mostly because she reminds him of himself) and the two have a special bond.
 
Island Austin is quickly becoming one to watch in the entertainment industry. Soon after booking her first major role in the feature I Can Only Imagine 2, she landed the highly sought after co-lead in Insidious 6 from Blumhouse. Additional credits include the independent features Entity and Kill Him ‘Til He’s Dead.
 
When she’s not acting, Island enjoys gymnastics, fencing, classical piano, snowboarding, singing and dancing. She also loves to spend time studying her favorite subjects of History, Geology and STEM.
 
Island resides in Tennessee with her parents, her collection of fuzzy slippers and her three Cornish Rex cats.
