RAGS MORALES joins Summer Spectacular!
Rags Morales is an acclaimed comic book artist best known for illustrating DC Comics’ Identity Crisis, Hawkman and Grant Morrison’s New 52 relaunch of Action Comics. His extensive career also includes JSA, Nightwing, Wonder Woman, Batman Confidential and Blackest Night.
Ralph “Rags” Morales is a veteran American comic book artist whose detailed figure work and expressive visual storytelling have helped shape several major DC Comics storylines. He began his professional career in 1989, illustrating DC’s Forgotten Realms series before moving into superhero titles including Black Condor, Hourman, JSA and Hawkman. Morales also co-created the 1990s incarnation of Black Condor with writer Brian Augustyn.
Morales became one of DC’s most recognizable artists through his collaboration with writer Geoff Johns on Hawkman. He later illustrated Brad Meltzer’s seven-issue Identity Crisis, a murder mystery involving Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Justice League that became one of DC’s defining stories of the 2000sr own text and edit me.
