Dark Horse Comics brings you a dramatic tale of the girl’s own fantasies in She Could Fly on its first issue.

Now I know what my thoughts and here I say to myself…… She Could Fly? W-what is this, some another Peter Pan story reference? Now that is too dramatic to see a woman flying through the air, right? Well, you’re wrong. She Could Fly is actually another one of the cult comics that you’ve ever read, heck Willow Wilson, included this comic as “Full of unexpected pleasures… masterful, joyful, poignant… A must read.” It’s just only a girl that she’s having a miserable life and her thoughts are going crazy as well. But this is just more than watching a serious horror movie or something.

First of all, everything you know that she can fly, but actually this is almost what she saw a dream of her flying, that’s right everything that she saw was a dream. But unfortunately, she has some problems, and for that, someone is possessing her, like a demon in her head. The first on this comic, the main character repeats herself by saying “rubber ball” like she’s being afraid or something, so eventually, she’s been going for some counseling many times, but no really her mind is actually corrupted. But she is no fool, her mind is in her clouds but somehow someone or something is invading her mind seeing her parents killed and seeing illusions of people with other faces. I’m sorry this is weird for me to say this. But then the only thing to save herself is suicide. Will she do it? Will she commit suicide and die from her mental corruption?

You know I have read one of the weirdest comics sometimes, but this one would lead you to drive you mad. She Could Fly is actually one of the thriller and horror comics that you’ve ever read, her mind is corrupted and all she had for her to do is to die and be free of herself. However, the story seemed far-fetched to know that the main character is cursed and somehow she kept having some visions of her killing her parents for no purpose. As for the art, well I don’t know what to say, the details show any definition of fear, and it almost seemed too far from realistic of what would happen in real life. Also, it can prove that the art is more of a feeling of pain and despair, instead of having a feeling of pleasure and anything. Well if you ever want to read this comic, you’re gonna see some real shit around.
