Andy wakes up struggling to come to terms with his new found abilities and the complications that come with it.
This is a pretty unique idea, yeah we have had alien invasions and body snatching before but having to be high to see them is pretty genius. As Andy soon realizes its not an easy task to be permanently wasted but someone has to do it! The burnouts take Andy training and he takes to it like a duck to water, even gets a pat on the back for his effort.
I love how an innocuous almost mythical pastime like cow tipping could actually be a training method against the alien invasion and love even more how quickly it turns into a dangerous situation for them. Fair play to them, I don’t think I could remain that focused while being THAT wasted and the aliens would have free reign for the next couple of days as I recovered so being a burnout is quite the undertaking.
The artwork is awesome in this, the aliens look suitably green and tentically while the heroes look exactly how a group of wasters should look right down to the bloodshot eyes. One of my favourites to read right now
