Something is going on in the town of Braeriach and it looks like it’s about to get a whole lot worse.
From front to back, this issue is just ridiculously brilliant the cover is a thing of beauty yeah messed up gruesome beauty but beauty all the same and the cliffhanger final panel had me gasp in frustration.
I love it
There is just so much to take in everyone is either starting to turn or possibly just being more openly crazy as the nice town Abraham walked through back in issue 1 is not the same town we see here! The eyes of the townsfolk are all slowly going crazy and the things they are getting up to is just downright insane. One guy is clearly not separating his household waste either, the monster.
I am getting the sneaking suspicion that Noah may just be onto something, he has been portrayed as the mental one, the psychotic animal but what if, what if all he is doing is trying to protect the ones he loves and it’s actually the town of Braeriach that is the danger! This is very quickly turning into one of my favourite stories out there right now it seems to have everything, violence, gore, mystery, gore suspense and of course gore. The only thing is the gore doesn’t feel out of place, I love the intensity of it and it is so detailed that you get absorbed by the beauty of it.
Just fantastic.
