They say absolute power corrupts absolutely and this issue enforces that thought.

Liza is definitely being corrupted by power, she is becoming increasingly at ease with inflicting pain onto others or witnessing acts of violence. Liza’s procedure of transferring glyphs to others works but it could be leading to an increased capacity for violence in the subjects.

I am really liking this story, Liza’s journey from meek sidekick to supervillain is astounding and the lengths that she is prepared to go to is shocking to everyone even the ‘bad guys’. It seems that Albrecht Bitterman is not quite finished with what he started and has found a willing host to help him reach his potential. What this means for the rest of the Marked is anyone’s guess but I’m sure it won’t be good.

How is anyone meant to defeat Liza with her power constantly growing, Benis obviously sees something in Simon but does he have the ability to prevail?

This is going to get very interesting!!
