Klaus is on his own mini-adventure as he gets kicked out of his home.
I think Klaus is my favourite character from The Umbrella Academy so I’m glad the series kicks off with him. I love how he just meanders from one crisis to another but things tend to work out for him in the end. Or so it seems. It might not go his way when we find out what Vivien has in store for him.
I love how Klaus seems to have a backup plan for his back up plan and each is more extravagant than the last, I mean who else would try and get adopted at just for somewhere to sleep. Klaus always makes me laugh and this issue runs with it for a brilliant story
The artwork in this issue is brilliant and I love how the transitions between his mental states are represented from his seance skill to his intoxication its all clearly displayed. I cant wait to see his sibling’s stories and how the colour scheme changes with each character’s adventure.
An awesome first issue.
