After the collapse of the Eaglemoss company in 2022, Fanhome has acquired the means to continue the Star Trek Starships Collection. Fanhome will be making twenty ships from the XL line available at their website with no subscription required for purchase.

Fanhome starships are created with die-cast metal and plastic parts. Unlike other Fanhome products, no assembly is required. The ships are not to scale with each other and all measure between nine and twelve inches. Each vessel comes with a display stand and a16-page magazine depicting its history in the Star Trek universe as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the design process for the ship.
