Just THREE DAYS remain to pledge for Billy Tucci’s latest graphic novel, Ran: Revenge of the Warrior Indiegogo campaign. Crusade Comics’ 11th project starring the character that inspired Tucci’s Eisner Award nominee, Shi slashes past all expectations into her final 72-hours on the crowdfunding platform. As of this writing, fans the word over have already raised over $62,000.00 in the campaign’s first two weeks matching Tucci’s last Indiegogo, Shi: Gatecrasher.
Revenge of the Warrior is a graphic novel that is thirty-five years in the making. Set within the violent, neon-lit, Kabukichō district of Tokyo 1993, it details one young woman’s war against a sex-trafficking gang of American ex-pat killers aligned with the notorious Yakuza crime syndicate.
The 22-day Ran: Revenge of the Warrior Indiegogo launched on October 21st and reached its initial funding goal in less than ten minutes. Fans have already unlocked Ran’s first two Stretch Goals; the Ran Hardcover Trading Card and the Billy Tucci Ran Mini-Print FREE to all backers who pledged for a physical perk. The Dan Lawlis Gilded Variant Trading Card, will be unlocked whence the campaign hits $65,000.00.
The sexy, no holds barred, neon-noir samurai epic will be available on Indiegogo until Friday, November 14, 2025.
Ran: Revenge of the Warrior is scheduled to launch on Kickstarter, Wednesday, November 19th.

About Billy Tucci
Inkpot Award recipient Billy Tucci is a cartoonist best known for his modern-day samurai saga Shi. Through his company, Crusade Fine Arts, Shi has been printed in five languages and sold more than 3 million comic books. The graduate of New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology contributed to the Eisner Award Winning, Comics For Ukraine: Sunflower Seeds and Love Is Love. Billy has also earned the prestigious Diamond Comics Gem Award and his DC Comics’ graphic novel, Sgt. Rock: The Lost Battalion, was awarded the Military Writers Society of America Gold Medal.
