A new senior capstone short film is currently in development, marking the directorial debut of an emerging filmmaker as she completes her college studies.

The project centers on a young woman walking home alone at night. What initially appears to be a familiar suspense setup gradually reveals a deeper and more unexpected turn, aiming to challenge audience expectations while showcasing strong visual storytelling.

As with many independent and student-led productions, the film is being completed on a limited budget. With principal work already underway, the current focus has shifted to post-production, including final editing, sound, and original score composition.

A fundraising campaign has been launched to help cover these final stages and ensure the project is completed to its full potential. Contributions will go directly toward essential production costs, including equipment, post-production work, and music.

Independent projects like this are often where new creative voices begin to take shape, and supporting them helps bring original stories to life.
