Today, Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, a leading games, IP and toy company, and video gamedeveloper Crystal Dynamics, revealed variant covers by artist Chris Mooneyham (G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero) for the all-new G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider miniseries.
From the best-selling creative team of writer Kyle Higgins (Immortal Legend Batman, Radiant Black), artist Elena Casagrande (Black Widow), colorist Alex Guimarães (Invaders), and letterer Pat Brosseau (G.I Joe: A Real American Hero), G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider #1 will be available in comic shops on October 7, 2026.
Chris Mooneyham’s “Vintage Joe” variant cover series features Lara Croft and fan-favorite G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero characters in action! These beautiful covers will occupy the D cover slot as a 1:25 incentive variant for all five issues of G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero/Tomb Raider.
