Vying for your (sometimes) high end toy dollars in 2014, is Yes! Anime.  In the showdown of higher end collectibles they are coming to the party strong, my friends!

First up, Yes! Anime showed off a few of their Super Alloy Iron Man House Party Protocol armors.  For my liking, the quarter scale is just a little too big.  Still, these figures were flippin cool.  I would’ve loved to have gotten my hands on one of them.  I’m curious to how big and heavy they feel in your hands (that sounds pretty wrong, doesn’t it?!!?)  But, they rightfully so kept them locked under glass.

I wouldn’t have broke them!

Speaking of Iron Man, Yes! Anime also had on display their line of 1/12th scale figures.  These figures are as cool as the quarter scale.  But, just a little too small for my liking.  Like Golidlocks says in that book about the bears, the sixth scale is “just right”.

Along with the Iron Man Collection, a new link of Hulk statues is also in the works, featuring the Abomination!

By far, one of the coolest figures on display was this Hyper Gokin Ghost Rider.  Along with that sick bike, the figure featured multiple hands and an alternate Johnny Blaze head (that was pretty reminiscent of Nic Cage.)

They also had on hand the Super Alloy Batman and upcoming Superman New52 figure.  Again, I would’ve like to get my hands on either one of these, just to get a better idea of what they’re about, how they’re constructed.

Yes! Anime is expanding it’s blind box figures with new assortments of Happy Tree Friends (that’s about time, amiright?!?!) and Spongebob Squareparents, himself.

Your friendly neighborhood jman’s pick, though?  The quarter scale Super Alloy Iron Man Mark XLII armor.  It’s not like anyone else has announced a Pepper Potts in armor yet.  That’s where the monies at!

yep! that's a Pepper Potts alternate head. It's about time!
