Jason Bourne comes home
On December 6, the latest film in the Bourne franchise, the self-titled Jason Bourne, will be available for home viewing. I got a chance to see the film in the theaters and unfortunately was a little disappointed. I did watch it again, but my overall opinion hasn’t changed.
The review copy I got was one that had a Blu-Ray and 4K Ultra HD. Honestly, I have no clue what 4K Ultra HD is. I did look it up and it’s not a format I have a player for. I am curious what it does look like, but at least I can still watch the Blu-Ray.
I did enjoy the extras on the Blu-Ray.
The first is Bringing Back Bourne. It’s all about what led up to the creation of a new Bourne film with Matt Damon and director Paul Greengrass.
Bourne To Fight is all about the fight choreography within the film.
And then a behind the scenes look at the Athens escape and the Las Vegas showdown.
I’m the type of guy that likes to look behind the curtain so I really enjoyed these.
I would really like to recommend this as a purchase, but in all honesty, as much as I love the Bourne franchise, Jason Bourne was a letdown and just worth a rental.
