BOOM! Studios comics releases the last issue of the crossover of Cartoon Network’s series of Adventure Time/Regular Show.
For some reason, this is more like the crossover between the last comic of Batman and TMNT. Cartoon Network made it actually more epic to make this crossover, and then it became like watching an actual legit episode of Adventure Time and Regular Show. But for the most part, the comic seemed to take a lot of structure from the story because I can relate to any other crossover comic book series that I’d read before.
So once again, this crossover is more like Batman and TMNT but in a different way, because the main characters were transported to another dimension to Finn and Jake’s world to Mordecai and Rigby’s world. It was more of an adventure between the two worlds, it was jam, rap battles, some lethal Konami codes, it was some rotten kids stealing stuff. But we get some random moments when the time Mordecai, Finn and Jake called out their catchphrase of the title of the series, it was epic, even Rigby is a party pooper because of his jealousy and being immature. And all of that because of the special controller to jump between dimensions and they’re going to find the controller in hopes for Finn and his friends to go home in their own world.
The thing about the series, its too random that Cartoon Network just produced the series to do a crossover, and there’s so much shit going on. The Regular Show world were going through their lives whether its from the job on the park, babysitting the kids while Mordecai is doing his counseling job, Rigby’s being a jerk and so on, while the Adventure Time world, everyone is on la la land while Finn and Jake get to experience their new adventures on ahead of time. But it’s somewhat different to tell what’s going on between the crossover. There are so many crossovers that occurred from a TV series, comic book, and even some fan fiction crossovers. But some of these things always come by when it comes to teamwork, like the MegaMan and Sonic crossover when the villains work together while the other main characters try to stop them. Bottom line, the Cartoon Network’s crossover is epic, I’d just hope that it would continue to see our beloved characters of the show work together once again.
