Harley’s obviously in a slump, who could blame her after what she’s been through and the Gang of Harleys are clearly worried about her but when one of her friends is in trouble she steps up to the plate no matter what!
I really liked this issue, its equal parts dark and light-hearted a nice mix of horror/suspense and comedy. The way Harley sneaks up on the Harley’s and Red Tool and actually Red Tool, in general, is funny his character is obliviously inept I love that he actually donned a raincoat to follow Harley in the classic private dick style.
My favourite page is easily the swing batter batter page! It’s an epic face-off between Harley and the Bat quintessentially Heroic it obviously doesn’t last but that one page captures the moment perfectly. Its definitely going to get more exciting in the next issue and I can’t wait to see if the meddling kids can help unmask the bad guy.
