IDW and DC comics gives a crossover of our greatest heroes, Batman and the TMNT on their adventures on New York in this fifth issue. Apparently, this issue would be the most epic crossover heroes in history.

In Gotham city, the Mad Hatter is working on a device to create a portal, which is a bridge to another world, even though his plan would work perfectly, just until Batman thwarts him from his evil plan. While he’s in Arkham Asylum, he manages to escape by using the police officer by mind control and he fled like Chapo without suspecting him. Batman and his gang team up with the turtles to find Mad Hatter if things would get worse in New York. Michelangelo and Robin are looking for the source, they teleported to Gotham city and tries to sneak into the Mad Hatter’s hideout. For some reason, Michelangelo dresses up like the usual Batman for fun, even though his plan was flawless and stopped his evil plans once more. By the time when the Mad Hatter uses mind control to the people of New York, Michelangelo steps in and destroyed the machine for good. They saved both worlds together, but almost because there’s a new enemy that the team are willing to encounter on time to time.

In my reactions and reflections of this issue, this is the most interesting crossover of all time. Both of the hero gangs are doing their job at night, taking care of the bad guys and all, and now we see them working together. For some reason, I can see that the artist made the characters just like the actual animated show. From Batman: The animated series and Nickelodeon’s TMNT turns out as that they’ve met from another time. Jumping from a fictional city to another fictional city which can be more realistic in the city of New York. But it would be better if Krang would jump into another dimension between Gotham and New York. The artwork are more likely used as the animators to the characters, but it’s amazing that the artist brought up the character designs from Batman the animated series to this comic book. I do like the actual teamwork between Batman’s team and the turtles to take down the bad guys. I would like to read the whole thing from the beginning, I recommend to anyone who is a fan of the turtles and Batman, and I hope you’ll find this crossover very surprising.
