The team has reunited this issue to fight Akila but how long will their reunion last.
Artemis realizes that Akila has betrayed her yet again and has always had the Bow of Ra so she teams back up with the Outlaws to take her down. Of course taking Akila down when she has the Bow of Ra is easier said than done and looks to be over before it begins until Bizarro makes his entrance and brings a mountain of pain to the newly reanimated Schm’tar. It takes all three Outlaws together to take on Akila and each save each other mote than once until finally, Artemis takes control of the Bow and Akila surrenders.
The story skips the climax and jumps an hour ahead to where Jason and Artemis are having a moment together and she is coming to terms with the little family that they have together her, Jason and Bizarro. They obviously still manage to fit in a little humour as they discuss the what happens to the Bow of Ra now and it shows that although their relationship may be moving forward it’s not changing too much.
Their moment is cut short however with Bizarro needing their help as he is in a bad way after the fight but we need to wait until the next issue to discover his fate!
