A filler issue of Harley this time, a wee break from the narrative, not that you would know as it’s a pretty decent story and does.t feel like filler at all.
Harley has been venting her anger via her roller derby team and boy does she need a lot of venting, she has pretty much destroyed any competition she has left. As if things couldn’t get any worse she then finds out that the whole of coney island is getting shut down to make way for the Penguin’s new casino! Not on Harleys watch it’s not.
The Penguin doesn’t take the hint after Harleys first reasonably subtle meeting and continues his casino plans and to avoid further interference he has hired himself a couple of pretty gnarly looking bodyguards to terrorise Coney so he can get his way. Harley is lost until she decides to fight fire with fire and gets help from the one person that no one says no to, Her Pudding!! the very last person you would think she would turn to and wait til you see how she got him to help!!
The writers also get a rollicking from Harley as they run it up and relax and she realises whats been happening the entire issue and isn’t happy at all!!
