Woah this issue REALLY lives up to the Dark title, the Upside Down Man is the perfect bad guy.
We get to see Zatanna’s daily rituals as she grew up learning magic from her dad while the upside down man makes his stand and shows his power. Everyone attempts to take him on and he brushes their effort aside as if it was nothing until eventually something inside Wonder Woman is awakened which turns the tables a little.
How powerful must the upside down man be that he can just brush off the attacks of some pretty big hitters, I mean John Constantine knows how to handle himself but even he barely even registered when he attacked.
This comic certainly lives up to the ‘Dark’ moniker, I can’t wait to see what else lurks on the fringes and beyond that can attack and threaten the team and the earth. Can anything be even more powerful than the upside down man?
