The Bat takes on the Beast in an epic battle this issue.

Interweaved into this issue is an Aesops Fable style story if Aesop wrote for Dc I don’t remember the fables being that gory but hey maybe if they were I would have paid more attention! Even in the story sections, I was taken by surprise as it unfolded and complemented the battle.

Batman vs the KGBeast is a battle of sheer will as well as brutality, Batman is a man possessed but will Nightwings shooting push Batman past his no-kill policy to finish this properly or will he even get the upper hand as the Beast is exactly that. The Beast pulls no punches as he and Batman go toe to toe in the snow, both seemingly impervious to the blizzard surrounding them as they collide.

Batman is ruthless, he is a lot harder than he has been before and looks to be more willing to go places he may not have before to bring justice to the man who shot Nightwing so who knows how far he will go when he finds out who ordered the hit!
