Is life for the Bartletts/Bowmans actually……. Getting better?
Ok so not everything is perfect, Evil is in Jail but honestly, it looks like he can handle himself just fine and may be slightly better off than with the family right now and we are certainly better off as we get some pretty sweet scenes of Evil introducing himself to his new roomies! Those prison scenes were just superb and hopefully kicks off a whole new side story following Evil as he settles in.
Jv as always surprises everyone by going against everything you imagine he should be! For being hundreds of years old he is certainly progressive as he has a heart to heart with his son Greg and imparts wisdom to help him come to terms with his new found feelings. it was a really touching moment between the two of them and is one of the reasons this comic is so amazing, being vampires is just a by the way and not the focus of the story, underneath everything they are a family just trying to watch out for each other
Bartlett is probably my favourite so its great to see him receive some happiness and his story with July is so sweet it starts to make you a bit cynical, can this be it? Can they be happy or is it all away to come crashing down around them I’m not sure what I prefer to be honest I do want them to get a happy ending but when it goes wrong it usually goes catastrophically bad and that is just epic to read. Either way, I can’t wait to see what happens next!
