Its time for the big showdown, will Eliot Ness beat Capone and will the Toad get home?

I really like the idea of this comic I love the dark take on what could happen if the wrong people were to discover magic and how it helped one of the most notorious gangsters reach his notoriety. I also really like how they got round the name problem, just drawing a plank over the title is a pretty brilliant move. The whole concept of Lick is especially gross and it really pushes home the fact that you just don’t know where stuff like that comes from and quite frankly you maybe don’t want to know!

I like how Capone wasn’t all that fazed by the giant toad arriving and soon found a way to take advantage and monetize it the weaponizing of magic is a really cool touch too. The artwork is amazing, it really seems to capture the gritty gangster era of Chicago and the magic just blends in instead of feeling tacked on. Gangsters and magic feels like it shouldn’t work but this comic proves it does!
